Aliza Vellani bio

Aliza Vellani, the Canadian actress, who is a resident of British Columbia, is an actor and film director. Vellani was most famously known for her character Rani Singh in the Netflix series Sweet Tooth. Aliza is a Vancouver-based actress who has more than 10 years of experience, both in Canada and in the United States. Vellani's credits include the hit show Little Mosque on the Prairie (CBC) The X-Files'(FOX) and Marvel's Super Hero Adventures (Disney+). Nora was born to Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen between 2024 and 2019 within Central City. The name she was given is a reference to her late paternal grandmother Nora Allen. Barry disappeared in 2024, after having fought Reverse Flash, but never came back. Nora was raised by Nora's mother. Vellani was the first of her children born into a family of Indian immigrants to the United States from East Africa. Her training started early, while she was attending York House School. Between 2007 and 2008 Vellani was awarded the BC and National Istar Awards for Arts and Culture. Vellani's studies continued after graduation in the fields of voice, dance, and acting. The Flash revealed in The Flash's Midseason Finale that Nora was conspiring to thwart her parents' wishes with Eobard who was the Reverse Flash. Vellani had planned to attend OCAD University to study integrated media, but instead she took on the role of the Reverse-Flash. Marvel was her first university experience. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia with the rest the the new cast.
